Gates of Olympus 1000

Zeus is waiting once again in his temple in this Pragmatic Play slot game released in 2023, featuring a 6x5 grid where bonus features and multipliers of up to 1000x can appear. Gates of Olympus 1000 is a high-volatility game where results can strike unexpectedly and powerfully, like one of Zeus's lightning bolts.

The goal of the game

Wins are awarded when at least eight matching symbols land anywhere on the grid. After a win is paid, the winning symbols disappear and new symbols fall into place, potentially creating additional wins during the same spin. In addition to the regular symbols, the game features a Scatter symbol that triggers free spins and can also form wins.

What kind of game is Gates of Olympus 1000?

Gates of Olympus 1000 is part of a series released by Pragmatic Play, which began in 2021 with the original Gates of Olympus slot. In that game, multipliers can reach up to 500x, but otherwise, the gameplay is quite similar to Gates of Olympus 1000. The series also includes Gates of Olympus Super Scatter, where the Super Scatter symbol introduces different winning opportunities, and Gates of Olympus Dice, which features dice symbols.

The high volatility of Gates of Olympus 1000 requires patience from players, as there may be several spins without any wins. However, individual wins can be larger, adding excitement to the gameplay. During bonus features, the winning potential can increase, as multipliers are added to the total multiplier during free spins, boosting the wins on each spin.

Key features

The special features of Gates of Olympus 1000 include multiplier symbols, bonus games, and the option to purchase free spins.

Multiplier symbols

Multiplier symbols can appear randomly in both the base game and free spins, with values ranging from 2x to 1000x the bet. In the base game, all multiplier values displayed on the reels are added together at the end of the spin, and the resulting total is used to multiply the total win for that spin.

During free spins, if multiplier symbols appear on the screen, each new multiplier increases the total free spins multiplier, which boosts all wins of the spin whenever new winning combinations occur.

Free spins

15 free spins are triggered when at least four Scatter symbols land on the grid. Players receive five additional free spins if at least three Scatter symbols land during a free spin.

Ante Bet and Bonus Buy Feature

The game offers an Ante Bet option that increases the bet by 25%. For example, if you play with a €2 bet, the Ante Bet increases it to €2.50. When the Ante Bet is enabled, the probability of Scatter symbols appearing on the reels increases.

Free spins can also be purchased in the base game for 100 times the bet. The free spins purchase option is unavailable when the Ante Bet is active.
